Wednesday Whimsy #40
Bonjour and happy Wednesday! I leave for France in less than two weeks and I’m here to share a few things I’ve planned for my fifth trip there. This trip will be unique in that I’m going with a friend; no tour group, no husbands, no kids.
Aix-en-Provence. We’re taking the train from the CDG airport and will be spending two nights and one-and-a-half days. I’ve never been to Provence and I’m hoping this will kick off planning for a much longer south of France trip.
Saint Ouen Flea Market. It’s out of the way of most other things to do in Paris and this will be my first time traveling with someone as interested in shopping as I am.
Giverny. An hour and a half east of Paris, Monet’s house and garden is something I’ve had on my list for several years. We opted for a tour group but there are several ways to get there.
Musée de Cluny. The museum of the middle ages. This is at the very top of my list of what I want to do. I’ve been so into novels set during the middle ages and tapestries. The famous unicorn tapestries are here.
Canal Saint-Martin. This has been on my list for a few trips now and I’m determined to make it there this time. Possibly because of Amelie.
Bon journée!
