I spend my days keeping our small mid-century house, doing yoga, and always planning my next trip to Paris. I love to cook; it’s probably where I’m most adventurous in life. Most evenings you can find me with a book (or kindle) in hand.

Currently I’m trying to put my B.A. in English to use by writing a novel. You can read more about where I’ve traveled here (there’s a lot of Paris) and what I like to read here.

Originally from the Southeast, these days I live just outside of Seattle with my husband and our two cats.

Book Reviews
I review new and forthcoming books via the Ace Roc Street Team and NetGalley and have been a part of launches for books such as Tasting Paris, How to Make a French Family, and The Winemakers. My go-to genres are sci-fi/fantasy, French memoirs, comics, magical realism, non-fiction (true crime and science), and cookbooks. In addition to the blog, I also add my reviews to Goodreads and Amazon.
If you would like me to review your book, I would be delighted to hear from you. Please email me at shelfquest@gmail.com.
