It is impossible to list all of the ways I love this book. In fact, this is probably going to be the most boring review I ever write because the only critique I have is that I’m probably going to have to wait a year or more to read the next one and that feels…unmanageable. Okay, actually I just thought of one negative thing to say. All of the men seem to be attracted to Maggie in a big way which is unlikely and hard to believe.
But really, this is exactly the type of book I wish I had when reading from the “romantasy” genre. There’s a bit of romance, lots of tension, the plot is moving, intelligent main character, fun supporting characters. The audiobook was fantastic and I plan to relisten before the next one comes out. When is that, again?
